IN VOYAGER TAROT, the 3 of WANDS is a card called compassion.  We often associate compassion with "others".  But this card focuses on compassion for self.  The pink rose represents the unconditional love for self - the unfolding of the heart chakras.  The golden hand mudra of the Buddha s connection to self.  The healer's hand is sharing energy that is also healing for self,  Society teaches through religious education and school that we are to think of others.  To serve is divine.  Taking a second look, another principle emerges...The Golden Rule - "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you" has the possibility of interpretation as " You must first love yourself and treat yourself well THEN when YOUR cup is full, you will gladly share with others.  Love yourself and you will have no need to "settle" for less from outside sources.  Tarot On!!

I have the greatest friends.  I have recently been blessed with a set of Aura Soma balance bottles so I can now offer Aura Soma readings.  Aura Soma was created in England by Vicky Wall, a herbaist who became blind and channeled over 100 beautiful bottles with a mixture of herbs and crystal energy in a bottle of oils and water.  These bottles offer color therapy just by sight but also can be applied to the physical body..  Each bottle is associated with an archangel, ascended master, a tarot card or chakra.  They are beautifully magical.  You choose 4 bottles that express your soul's destiny, karmic challenges or gifts, how you are progressing on your path and where you are headed for.  You can learn more on the webpage of Aura Soma.  Looking forward to sharing the bottles with all in the Tampa/Dunedin area,

The Power of Intention

In my life there have been times when I have wished for change.  And there have been times when I wished for things to slow down or remain the same.  As I look over my life, I have come to realize that wishes can come true powered by intention.  When I wished, I was thinking and asking, "Please, make this happen."  I thought I turned things over to the Universe.  Upon closer review, I saw that I did not back up those thoughts and wishes with intention.  It is like the old saying, "Pray, but wear work boots!"  Setting an intention is setting a goal with measurable steps and actions toward reaching that goal.

A few years ago, I wanted to take my tarot business to a more professional level.  That goal led me to check out the Tarot  I joined and attended a conference.  That led to enrolling in the Association's Professional Development Program taught by Jenna Matlin.  WOW!  That 6 months moved me through developing my first business plan EVER.  That course included setting my vision, my Code of Ethics, and learning to use the internet and other social media to my benefit.  That led to some decision making that included leaving some aspects of my business being dropped, a move to another city and state, and a stronger confidence in my skills and worth.

Since completing the course, my business has increased three fold.  I now am an established reader in a wonderful metaphysical store.  My readings outside my work at the store have increased.  I have expanded reading tarot to also include Lenormand, Oracle and Past Life readings.  I started teaching courses in Reiki, Chakras and Crystals as well as a course in reading tarot.  I have social media contacts with other tarot people around the globe.  My confidence has grown so that  decided to take the plunge and go on my first visit to Europe and check off Stonehenge from my bucket list.  All from writing down an intention and following through step by step.  I might add assisted by affirmations and lots of gratitude to the grace of the Universal Oneness!  SO - - Ask with intention!!
